I was engaged by ZSpace to lead development of a virtual reality architecture visualization tool for use by property developers to allow customers to be able to walk through yet to be built apartments and homes.
Utilizing Vive hardware to allow for room scale virtual reality, the application allows the customer to not only walk around the virtual apartment, but customize finishes, including wall color, floor type, benchtops, splashbacks and tiling.
All the options update a live running budget available at any time via a virtual clipboard the user carries with them.
This virtual clipboard allows the customer to jump to any room in the apartment or house and also allows them to save customization groups, take virtual photos and even change the time of day and lighting to see their choices under different lighting conditions.
